TapKit for Clinics

Patients arrive with a tap. Nothing to install.

The patient taps a card on the clinic's phone, not their own. Arrival is recorded with the time and announced to the right room, and the patient never downloads anything.

Today

A handwritten arrivals list, patients unsure whether reception has seen them, and no record of how long anyone waited.

With TapKit

Every arrival has a time in the register, the consulting room hears who has arrived, and the clinic can see from the CSV how long mornings really run.

A real day

A morning OPD at a three-doctor clinic

Reception books the morning's appointments onto numbered arrival cards, each with the consulting room as host.

Demo Patient taps card 7 at the reception phone. The Echo in Room 2 says: "Demo Patient is here to see Room 2."

Their own phone is never involved. An elderly patient with a basic phone taps the same card.

Leaving, they tap again and are signed out. The register shows twenty-nine minutes in the building.

The clinic exports the morning's register as CSV to see when the waiting room was busiest.

The cards you would issue

Arrival cardsA numbered stack at reception, booked per appointment, expired at closing.
Recognised
UPI payment cardWritten at the counter. Opens the patient's own payment app with the clinic's UPI id.
Written

Written

Recognised works on any chip, changed from the console. Written works on any phone, nothing installed. The two modes, explained

Where TapKit stops. TapKit records arrival times; it does not manage the queue order or show a patient their position. Reception calls patients in from the register, by arrival time.
