TapKit for Events

Who was actually in the hall.

Each hall door has an enrolled phone. Delegates tap their badges going in, and the ledger records which badge entered which hall and when, without a scanner queue.

Today

A registration desk that knows who arrived at the venue but not who sat through which session, and certificates issued on trust.

With TapKit

Every session has a list of badges and times, and the organiser decides certificate eligibility from evidence instead of a sign-in sheet.

A real day

A two-day conference with three halls

Delegates collect plain NFC badges. Each is registered to the delegate at the desk.

Hall B's door phone records badge taps for the keynote. The venue Wi-Fi is overloaded; taps queue and catch up.

A delegate taps Hall C for a workshop. One delegate's taps across halls now read like an itinerary.

Speakers' badges were issued as visitor passes for day one only. On day two they are recorded and silent.

The organiser filters the ledger by phone, which is to say by hall, and exports attendance per session.

Where TapKit stops. TapKit records who tapped into which hall and when. Working out who attended enough sessions for a certificate is a filter on the CSV export today; it is not an automatic rule.
