TapKit for Retail

A counter card that opens the customer's own UPI app.

UPI is a first-class record type in TapKit, not an afterthought. A written card at the counter opens the customer's payment app with your UPI id filled in. Shelf tags and customer cards handle the rest.

Today

A QR code that is peeling off the counter, shelf checks nobody can prove happened, and no idea which regulars came back.

With TapKit

Payment starts with a tap, shelf checks leave a trail, and visits by repeat customers are counted per card.

A real day

A Saturday at a neighbourhood store

The shop assistant taps each shelf tag in the snacks aisle during the opening check. The ledger records the round.

A customer taps their phone on the counter card. Their own UPI app opens with the store's UPI id. Nothing installed.

A regular taps their store card at the counter phone. The visit is recorded against the card.

The owner exports the day's ledger: the shelf rounds, and how many visits came from registered cards.

Where TapKit stops. TapKit counts visits per card; it does not run a points or rewards scheme. To award points, the card's routine can call your loyalty system's webhook.
